The Right to an Abortion in Texas

Law allows citizens of texas to sue people involved in an abortion, and get a bounty from the state for ten thousand dollars. I don't how is that ok? I don't think it is. And i actually am glad to see the justice department saddling up to go down there and fight these cases. It seems to me that between those two statutes and a whole bunch of just regular common law doctrines, i would rather be on the department of justice's side in that litigation down in texas.
