The current interest rate levels are a game changer relative to anything that we've seen in modern history. A lot of the money in America and the world is invested in these bonds. People have become accustomed to bonds being an effective hedge. Every time the stock market goes down meaningfully, their bond, they expect their risk free and government bonds to rally. We're starting to see that wane.
