How to Get Someone Started and Create Their Ideal Business
I think it's really important to meet people where they are, right? And understand who they are, but then also where they want to go. I see this the way that I think you would see designing a program for somebody. That's where somebody is, identify what their goals are and then we build a plan to get there and then we execute the plan. Not everybody wants to solve that problem. But that's the thing that gets me really excited to do what I do.

Pat Rigsby is a fitness business coach who has been in the industry since 1994.
Growing up in Portsmouth, Ohio, Pat never had an interest in entrepreneurship and wanted to be a Major League Baseball player.
And even though he had a season in professional baseball, he eventually realized playing the sport wasn’t his calling and set his sights on coaching.
Since starting that first fitness business, Pat has owned, or co-owned, over 32 businesses in the industry, from health clubs to local training facilities and franchises.
And now he runs the Ideal Business Academy, where he helps fitness pros create their own, unique ideal business.
