The Paradox of Self-Deception
Self-deception is the problem of not knowing and resisting the possibility that I have a problem. Freud actually located it with a paradox, because what he noticed was people often create their own problems. We're no longer fully seeing ourselves as human beings; we see them as objects in our way. They really might be irrelevancies for us but they can use an organization to help us.
