Is There a Reluctance in Society to Help Boys?
There is a reticence in society to even want to think about the idea that boys might need help. Men are still seen fundamentally as actors capable of seizing their own face while women are, I think, oftentimes unintentionally, still often talked about as mostly being acted upon. We're all for societal reparations and reparative measures when it comes to girls because they've been acted upon,. but if things are affecting boys, well, that's just a result of their bad choices.
