The idea that we have to think a certain way to play well is probably the biggest misconception that holds people back. I believe it's more important to not be resistant to what we're thinking, or judging what we are thinking than Think positive all the time. Extreme spoort athletes experience is a lot. They're so focused on what it is they're doing for fear of dying,. That they they sort of enter this zone or that flow state much easier. But trying to create it moves us farther away from it because that just ramps up thinking. And that's what we're trying to avoid in the first place.
