Atolevs: Oil has always been a more global commodity. Gas is slowly getting there, it's been more regional markets. Even right now the us doesn't export as much gas as probably it could do at these current prices. A i would argue, even in a pretty deep recession, i just don't see all prices going below 80 dollars.
