For me, every time I was assigned to cover any story, I always tried to wipe the slate clean and just look at it as a news story. And if we stick to that, I always think that there's a built in protection for journalists. Like, if you just stay to what's correct, you'll be fine in the end. But a lot of what you talk about isn't fact, it's not like Matt Taiby is the first guy to the fire.
