The Theory of Evolution Affects Philosophy

The theory of evolution has big implications for philosophy in general. It affects how we think about what is adaptive, functional design. In some ways it offers a new kind o the third alternative to god: heleology. The idea that God made these special creations and then killed them off because they were created by him or her makes no sense at all. But if you've got an explanation which works with what you've got, i would produce something that kills this blind spot. Would be like human beings having a blind spot? Wot do I want to retnalise my eyesight so  I can get along without going back out into the front yard where there are other people
