In Silicon Valley, jobs started leaving pretty immediately. The chip foundry is starting a shift overseas to Taiwan as I think is the first one in 1961. Atari, where Wozniak and Jobs sort of get their start, was subcontracted famously to do breakout are really advanced offshores. And then, you know, we talk about gig economy now, but like way before that, Silicon Valley was the core of the temp economy.
