The Life of a House Sitter

When my husband took early retirement in 2002, we started planning a new chapter of our life together. After scouring the internet for related blogs and trading messages with a few people already in the business, we chose to take the plunge. Our first year was a roller coaster of highs and lows. One or two houses were disgusting. We even had a terrible experience with an angry neighbor. The job I'm about to share was the most dramatic by far. At least for me.
