Brooke's Injuries

We don't exactly know how he was injured, but it was bad. Brooke spent nearly five years recuperating. He was better by 1830, but his journey back to India to resume his service with the company was dogged by bad weather and worse luck. Information would come over in the early 1950s to suggest that he had at least one bastard son that he hid away from the public eye. It's all very muddled with this dude.
