Google's Choice of Large Language Models for Chat Interfaces
Google made $162 billion last year by people clicking on the top link of the search. That's going to go away, so they have to make money somewhere else. Google do not believe that a chat interface will work because the large language models are not fast enough for a conversation. What you need to be doing is interfacing directly with the internet and these are fundamentally different things.
