The Pros and Cons of a Protective Order
The judge actually gets to rule what happens in the courtroom. The defense will submit any and all objections they have to the protective order. And then the district judge will rule on it. It is a real sign that she was so on top of this and issuing two essentially rulings over the week. Is clearly focused on the issue of the trial. Does it mean that the government's going to get what it wants, but she is obviously very focused on it.
