Long term value is not just about fanciness of framework we use, but it's actually to prevent problems from cropping up in the future. And definitely well architected framework. So one aspect, which I think really important you mentioned in this long term value as well is about sustainability. How do we write sustainable software? This is really about being efficient and writing well designed software.

David Anderson is the author of “The Value Flywheel Effect” and the co-creator of The Serverless Edge. In this episode, David described the value flywheel effect concept and its four stages: clarity of purpose, challenge & landscape, next best action, and long-term value. David also explained the importance of Wardley Mapping and how we can use it to help improve the organization’s situational awareness within the value flywheel.
