Is There a Relationship Between Insulin and Glutacorticoid Elevation?

Goo-co-corticoids are named that for their ability to promote the sort of conversion of proteins and fats to usable carbohydrates. They're super adaptive or help us by replenishing the energy reserves after a period of activity, like running from a predator,. But they also act on the brain to increase appetite for food and increase locomotor activity so that it can regulate more of our energy input and expenditure. And so interestingly enough, one of the results of this interaction is that insulin levels increase.
