The Complexity of the Human Brain

I always argue with people about the complexity of the human brain. And we tend to wait heavily upon things where, atomically, it actually seems fairly simple. I would basically say there is a certain probability that we could run the functional equivalent of a person on a large PC. So it's basically something that you can buy for 20K and put into your office. The individual neuron tries to succeed in the large organization. Most of what the individual thinks and feels and wants does not contribute to the organizational society.
