Russia's Political Economy Is a Crucial Factor in the Second World War

Michael koffman says russia has picked a fight on the basis of political economy that it's not able to win. Political economy plays a huge role in long war, he argues. Koffman: I would introduce a wild guard i guess back to contingency which is the russian capacity to wreak havoc within ukraine and also within europe That's the dog that hasn't barked yet in this conflict  but even something that would hit critical infrastructure banking system seems entirely possible to me.
