The German Government Is Holding Back on Its Own Government to Government Consultations With China

Germany is sending tanks into Ukraine, not words we've heard for more than 80 years. They do fear that the Chinese are going to be pushed further into the Russian arms by what we see as the pressure exerted by the United States. There wasn't anything hugely new on there. Everybody here has been waiting for the end of the Yang Hui, the two sessions in Beijing. We're waiting for the German government's new China strategy. Some reporting says that that has also been delayed until after the consultations.
