Late capitalism gives rise to and helps shape the cultural epoch of post modernism. It's not like there is a break that occurred with the advent of liberalism, he says. What we saw as a kind of radicalization of trends that had already been existing for a long time. But in terms of the sociat political trends, you saw a decline of support for democratization under nea liberal governments. The thirdtrasor that i talk about is technological. And this, of course, has far, far, far deeper roots than just ne liberalism.
