The Danger Zone of Pastoral Care

All serious relationships live in that tension and it is always unpredictable about which way it will tilt. And God is always freshly deciding which way to face us in any given moment. Mental living is very dangerous. In the last prose section, God says, tell those friends to keep quiet, I am so bored with them. But tell Job that if he prays for them, I will listen to Job because Job is my kind of a guy.
