The Importance of Being a Hard Guy
My father was a polar opposite on that outside of the brilliance part. Maybe still to this day, might be the smartest man that I've ever met. But battling so many of his own demons that he wouldn't let himself go achieve and he was afraid of success. And you know, he had other relationships outside of my, outside of my mom, which caused the marriage to break. So for a long time, I was trying to make sure I was a hard guy. It's part of the reason I got into martial arts as early as I did. That bled over to other areas where I also was following his lead and being the guy that could only be the hard guy.
