The Importance of Respecting and Celebrating Everyone

As you prepare to celebrate Father's Day, what are you celebrating as an autistic father? That's a potentially powerful question. I said earlier that I thought I was well prepared to be a parent and was shocked at how hard it was in my particular situation. And what I'm celebrating this year is my kid and everything they are. The fact that I am doing this when for a while I wasn't really confident I could just enjoying being a dad.
