The Women's Contribution to the Work of Her Husband
Mary Paley is known for her activities as a suffragist. She also happened to be married to an economist, Henri Fassett,. And so they collaborate together on writing his principle of economics. It was understood at the time that smart women might work together with their husbands but less clear whether their contribution would be acknowledged or remembered.
