Writers That Make You Want to Write
Audrey: I would say fiction writers stir me up the most. Marilyn Robinson, Alice McDermott and Kazuo Ishiguru are some of my all time faves. Jumpa Lahiri is so quiet and so nuanced that I just look up to her so much. Wendell Berry's work gets less attention than his poetry and his nonfiction. It's so quiet, like nothing really happens, but it's beautiful.
