For years i wanted to write a story about parallel lives and i just wasn't getting the hook at all there wasn't anything new to add. I was reading horgay louis bojas who wrote a famous story from the 1930s about the library of babel which was a sort of an infinite library it wasn't a library of parallel lives but it was a library of every version of every book that could have been written. That got me thinking or maybe a library would be the perfect kind of portal into um parallel lives because a library kind of is that anyway you know you go into a library and you take a book up the shelf you enter a different world, libraries are sort of
