AI and Deepfakes: The Future of Social Media
The nature of the LLMs can be both ways. Depending on the AI agent, you can create a fake news that cannot be distinguished from real news. The AI agents and the deepfakes are going to play a massive role in the next election next year, in the next 18 months. And I think that there will be maybe one or two election cycles where AI and deepfakes is going to be massively influential until we get to that point where we can use blockchain and digital signatures to authenticate content.
