The Seven Years War

From 17 56 to 17 63, great britain and france did battle in what is known as the seven years war. In many ways, this conflict can be considered one of the first truly global conflicts. The two sides did battle in north america, africa, india, asia and continental europe. As if that wasn't global enough, the two nations allies included pretty much every major european power, besides the ottoman empire. And louis the fourteenth had succeeded in using war to make versailles the gio political capital of the european world.
