The Importance of Memorials
There's discussion of his body being moved. It would seem to be a very strange thing to unearth his body and to move him away. And I don't think we necessarily need to make these choices. We can understand why the monuments were put up. We can put them in context without destroying them, without defacing them. That's intellectually coherent position if you care about history.
