The Dark Side of Divine Femininity
Divine femininity pushes a religious ideal about wives submitting to husbands. The mythopoetic aspect of the men's movement is very much rooted in patriarchal notions of chivalry and men as protectors and warriors. Some women fall inter-traditional roles to a point where they imply that any woman who does isn't feminine. If you prefer your husband being in charge of finances, go for it. But other women have the right to not make that choice. Someone isn't less feminine because they handle the finances or because they open their own car door. And it's insanely ignorant and stupid to say otherwise,. I'm just sorry, I think it's really stupid.
