Quenton young and Ruth fell into each other's arms one night. They had been hiking 20 and 30 miles a day through swaying forests so thick there was perpetual twilight, drinking from streams fed by snowflakes that at the top of the world. The next morning, ruth spread her husband's ashes on the twisted roots of a flowering tree. She kept it warm and fed it milk. And when they were back in a boat in the yanxea, going with the current, this time she kept the window open and kept it cold and tibet like in there too. It was the only thing she could think to do to symbolize what they had shared in the life
