i remember when i first met you vitali, in two thousand and eight, and i was a rooky reporter in kiev. We were reporting about ukrane's desire to join nato. And even then, i was reporting, you know, this is all talk. This is actually not going to happen in any foreseeable future. But the odd thing about this is that until this, until this war, happened like joining nato, wasn't really a realistic prospect. There's even more talk of various countries, not just ucrane, trying to join nations - b at in london for example. Even those who were never really interested in the whole narrative of russia
