The Effects of Keto Diet on LDL Cholesterol

Dr. Berry: I started doing Keto and my cholesterol went from 210 to 280. My LDL went up and my doctor wants me to go on a statin. We're seeing from the millions of anecdotal cases now of people who've adopted a keto diet, a keto-vore diet or carnivore diet that's higher in fat. About 130 people, their LDL cholesterol will actually go down a little bit. And about one third of people, it goes up.
