The Role of Radiation in the Hike

Yuri Krivonoshanko worked in the nuclear facility, myak. He attempted to resign about six months prior to hike due to complete unwillingness to work in the system. His resignation was rejected and he was then sent to zero. And so one of the pieces that showed radiation on the piece of clothing seemed to belong to him. But that doesn't explain why the radiation is on the other clothing. Maybe the clothing had rubbed together and contaminated each other or maybe one individual put it on and it had contaminated the other pieces they were wearing.
