The Memory as Islands, or Associative Bridges
Some people talk about this as the difference between learning somebody's name is baker and that some one's profession is baker. I really like the analogy of thinking about memory as islands. We consolidate those memories, but also potentially contaminate them by essentially building bridges to those islands from other.
