Innitive recursion is not always a problem, right? You could just say, well, there is just uncertainty distributions all the way up. And maybe that's actually fine. At some point, it doesn't feel like it's adding any value to you to do it any further. Maybe things stop at a fixed point or maybe you get a bit more information at each level you go back. This is another of the heuristics, by the way, you asked for some more and infinite regress is a technique often used.
