In November 2021, the price of a Bitcoin reached over $65,000. A year later, as news of the collapse of FTX spread, it plummeted to just under $16,000. What investors can count on is that unlike bank accounts, which can be exposed to fraud, the Bitcoins in their digital wallet are safe.
