The Battle of Dunkirk

The two countries agreed to a one year partnership based on a very specific set of objectives, seizing three spanish held cities. In late september the anglo french army finally got moving and mardyke surrendered after four days of heavy pounding. The next target was supposed to be near by, dunkirk, but when the sp Spanish sent a small army to try and recapture mardyke, the anglo French operation stalled. And oh, by the way, both charles the second and his brother james served alongside their new spSpanish allies.
