The first organisms that ever lived had to be able to detect and respond to danger in order to get through the day. In fact, if you look at protozoa, like amoeba, paramecia, they swim around in their environment if they encounter something harmful,. They swim away from it. And even bacteria do this. So does our behavior have anything to do with all of that stuff that happened way back there four billion years ago? I think it does.
