The Lost in Time Princess of the Old Empire

In the new content there is a new character. You get missions from her to go to potential histories. In the original game, you have standard history and alternate history. Ultimatelyyou have to choose both of them at different times because of l the road blocks. So what happens is, er, you go to a time line where, say, rosh is a general, whereas he's actually just a major or some other rank n the normal game. And there is something happening in that history that is distorting it. To fight a battle, get the item, go back, give it to the mess you had in your character and move on with your life. Orwhat can happen?
