The idea behind that, if I can encapsulate for the audience, is that we're not really detaching from the fact that the occurrence happened. We're using that method of understanding through clearer consciousness to understand that what had just occurred was more coming from a place of pain on the other individual. In doing so, you are reclaiming your personal power in order to not feed into this never ending cycle of the blood and the tears.
