Sally Kohn: If AI can displace jobs in the way that you describe, it must therefore follow that it can also be used to address the existential threat of climate. And if there's nothing about that that isn't true, it seems to me that we need to be doing the biggest moonshot and social alignment around AI plus climate that we possibly can. The distributional problems that emerge from AI, the destruction of jobs, the concentration of wealth, then need to be addressed because if you don’t, you produce populism and disaffection and all of those problems.
