How to Get in Front of a Legendary Decision

From the very first meeting when you're working on a new initiative in marketing, tell people, we want to do something legendary here. And understand as we go forward and frankly tell people this, that some people, maybe potentially even board members of the company or senior executives will not like the strategic decision that we make. Let everybody know from the beginning, it's fine. We are not aiming for consensus. We're aiming for legendary results. Second, set the expectation that we expect, even if you violently disagree with the decision that we made, that everybody on the team is going to commit. That might mean disagree and commit, even if they hate it.
