Persephone Returns to the Underworld

When persephone is brought to the upper world by hermes, she steps out of the chariot and her foot hits the earth. And in some version, at that point, green grass and flowers break out all over the earth, because persephone has been returned to her mother. Returning the daughter, the maiden, the feminine, young aspect of mother earth, is being born anew, as she is born anew every spring.
