Reddit Is Starting to Charge for API Access

Reddit has decided to start charging for API access and this is particularly relevant to me because if you recall from a couple episodes ago when we were talking about flu cup. The goal is not to make this inherently a big profit center but to cover both the cost of usage as well as the opportunity costs of users not using the official app, lost ad views, etc. And so I thought this was all interesting given what I'm going through also it's worth noting that imager recently banned sexually explicit uploads so there's apparently a big kerfuffle about that. But yeah this is why pricing for anything we are not controlling the API is tough right? You never know what the future will bring
