You attended weekly drop-in centres in Cardiff, Sunderland and Glasgow where you worked as a volunteer researcher for nine months. Your research suggests that the dispersal policy is not effective in deterring people from seeking asylum. We need to think about how independent scrutiny can be provided over what’s happening right now within the country in terms of accommodation, provision and services,. And importantly, offering context in which the voices and experiences of asylum seekers can be listened to and responded to.
