The Overt Supernaturalism in Marlin
The way supernatural events keep bursting in in the middle of everyday life, people criticize this. George Orwell said one could recommend the book unreservedly if Mr. Lewis had succeeded in keeping it all on a single level. Unfortunately, the supernatural keeps breaking in and it does so in rather confused, confusing, undisciplined ways. There's time travel. Marlin comes back to life as in like the from the Arthurian legend. The main good, the leader of the good group of human beings is perpetually young. Jane has these clairvoyant dreams, angels coming in to fix things at the end.
