The Impact of the Lower Pound Sterling on British Business
The impact of the devaluation alone on our profit margins is probably about £200,000. On the other hand, we grew about 5% last year and we were expecting to grow 25%. And we think about £2 million worth of revenue we can attribute being lost to factors that relate to the referendum. But even ignoring those extra costs, a lower exchange rate can be a mixed blessing for business in itself.
