I'm surprised. I sort of thought that when you were saying that it was easier to modify the AI that that's partly because coercion is less of an issue. That is you're not as worried about coercing them as you are with humans. Although I think that will change. And at some point we will probably have minds that, you know, some of us might feel are so rich enough that we don't want to just give them pain.
