i think my sermons have become shorter and less involved. I nonw ask good or bad i it. It may mean that i'm asking less from my listeners and the sermon. And we preachers cannot, are not allowed by god to be casual or ignorant or oblivious to our listeners. On the other hand, i get into this in the book,. i am troubled by what tom long has called the turn to the listener in contemporary preaching.
